Here's a quickie Christmas ornament idea using fabric scraps.
I have a (bad) habit of saving "things" that most people would throw away. Take for example this scrap of fabric from a baby tee shirt that I held onto for 16 years. The tee was badly stained but luckily the area around the embroidered snowman was in perfect condition.

This project took me about 15 minutes to make and other than the fabric scrap I only needed a few supplies - a small embroidery hoop, embroidery floss and ribbon to hang.
Simply attach the embroidery hoop to the fabric and cut away most of the excess fabric in the back. I hand stitched the fabric on the back with embroidery floss to keep the excess fabric in place and to look a little more finished.
Add a ribbon to the top of the embroidery hoop to hang.

What a sweet idea Lorrie, I love it!
